We are now handling the line of Jen-Ken external Digital Controllers for either glass or ceramic kilns. Beware of external digital controllers built with "off-the-shelf" generic controllers. These generic units are VERY confusing to use and are extremely hard to program.
The Jen-Ken's are very easy to set up: simply set your kiln's "infinite" switch to HIGH, plug your kiln into the Jen-Ken controller, and insert the temperature probe into your kiln. We also can order these controllers with other types of digital control panels, including control panels that interface with a PC computer.
KILNS
Jen-Ken Bead Annealer Kilns can easily anneal either soft or borosilicate glass, using their built-in digital controllers. The fusing/slumping models go to 1700 degrees. All models include fire brick 'feet' to elevate the kiln off of its resting surface, protecting it from direct kiln heat.

This kiln is built with Insulating Fire Brick, and therefore, holds heat very well. It can be ordered with one of two different digital controllers, either the Orton 3 button or the Bartlett 3 button. This kiln retails for $565 USD but our everyday price is $479 USD.

• Includes pyrometer/analog controller
Same as above except that it has the pyrometer/analog controller. This type controller works well for a fusing-only kiln. Being that the kiln is built with Insulating Fire Brick, it cools slowly enough to anneal small fused items. This price INCLUDES the accessory kit, which is a 10 inch shelf, shelf posts, and kiln wash.
Note: As with ANY kiln with a pyrometer and analog controller, it is not recommended for use as a bead annealer.
