Jen-Ken External Digital Controllers

We are now handling the line of Jen-Ken external Digital Controllers for either glass or ceramic kilns.   Units are available for 120 V, 15 amps kilns all the way up to 240 V, 50 amp kilns.   All units come with a 3 button Orton AutoFire3 controller SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED for glass and ceramic kilns.  These controllers come with HEAVY DUTY relays and temperature probes for extremely long life.

Beware of external digital controllers built with "off-the-shelf" generic controllers.  These generic units are VERY confusing to use and are extremely hard to program.

The Jen-Ken's are very easy to set up: simply set your kiln's "infinite" switch to HIGH, plug your kiln into the Jen-Ken controller, and insert the temperature probe into your kiln.  The temperature probe that comes with this controller is 1/2" in diameter which easily fits the standard "peep-hole" on most kilns.  Smaller diameter probes are available on request for kilns with smaller temp probe holes.  We also can order these controllers with other types of digital control panels, including control panels that interface with a PC computer.
